Developing the physical life of any performance is essential to communication. Lisa works closely with directors and performers to shape the physicality and dynamics of the overall performance while also working individually with actors to develop character physicality .

Lisa has extensive experience working across a range of performance styles with professionals and students alike to create physically detailed, nuanced performances.

    Lisa has worked  extensively as a movement director and choreographer across a wide range of styles in theatre companies and universities including National Theatre, Victoria, Sturt and Monash Universities, VCA, Arts Centre Melbourne and Playback Theatre. Her theatre credits include Twelfth Night, Squizzy, West Side Story, The Addams Family, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, Cloud Nine Nabucco, Our Country’s Good, The Chapel Perilous, Florence Nightingale, Caucasian Chalk Circle,, Nicolas Nickelby, Alice in Wonderland, The Emperor New Clothes, The Lorax, Peter Pan, Roald Dahl’s Snow White, Nothing to Wear, The Penelopiad, Combat … for what?, Workshop Bukowski, The Exquisite Corpse…Shall Drink the New Wine Cinderella,

    Lisa’s credits include Lucia, Di Lammermoor, La Boheme. Maria Stuarda, Macbeth, West Side Story, The Addams Family, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, Cloud Nine Nabucco, Our Country’s Good, The Rise and Fall of Mahagonny, Cinderella, Grease, Legally Blonde, Wizard of Oz, Little Shop of Horrors, Parade, the National Theatre singer’s program and many independent workshops for singers.

  • DANCERS

    Lisa worked in New York for ten years with contemporary, jazz and musical theatre companies. In Australia, she has worked extensively across a range of dance styles both as a freelance artist and at universities including National Theatre, Victoria, Sturt and Monash Universities, Her choreography includes Combat … for what?, Cinderella, Grease, Legally Blonde, Wizard of Oz, Little Shop of Horrors, Parade, Dear Ida and numerous commercial events. Lisa’s choreographic workshops specilaise in assisting dancers to extend their expressive skills and develop character. Lisa has also completed comprehensive research into Australian home-front dancehalls in WWII and 1940’s dance.
